The 2024-2025 homeschool year is creeping up on us. We usually don’t kick off our year until September, so August is spent prepping the homeschool space, cleaning out old books, dry markers, and putting our binders together. I say that like I’m organized… I’m an ADHD mess, but I really love LOVE school year prep. Makes me think of “You’ve Got Mail” (my absolute favorite movie)

So these are the items that I am adding to my homeschool space this year:
- 1. Awesome Engineering Activities for Kids: 50+ Exciting STEAM Projects to Design and Build (Awesome STEAM Activities for Kids) – Two of my children are very engineering/ mechanically-minded. I hope this helps to scratch that itch for them.
- 2. Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Pro tablet– No ads and parental controls! PLUS my younger homeschoolers can be a little more mobile rather than be tied to a laptop.
- 3. AFMAT Electric Pencil Sharpener – After so long of loosing crummy, dollar store sharpeners,
- 4. Wildcraft! an Herbal Adventure Game/Family Game – Is it selfish that this is for me? Maybe. But I think my kiddos are going to love it.
- 5. Ticonderoga Wood-Cased Pencils – If you know, you know. Does this need an explanation?
- 6. Didax Educational Resources Unifix Cubes Set (100 Pack) – We need a few packs of these this year. Many have ended up in toy boxes or the floor of my van. It’s time for a refresh.
- 7, Godery Desktop Tote and Stock Organize, Teacher Helper Tote Bag – Our morning work and favorite writing utensils need to be in one place or we can’t find them.
- 8. Studico ActiveChairs Kids Wobble Stool– My kids can’t stay still, so why make them? They can wobble while they work.
