Back in the Dirt: Our Journey to Rebuild Farm Where You Live

Hey friends,

If you’ve been following along with Farm Where You Live over the years, you know it’s been a labor of love. But what you might not know is that this little dream of ours comes with its fair share of challenges—including a pretty steep learning curve and a pile of debt that we aren’t hiding from anymore.

We’ve wrestled with it, stumbled over it, and questioned if we should just walk away. But we can’t. We’re not done yet.

So here’s the deal: this season, we’re taking everything we’ve learned and putting it to the ultimate test. We’re going to see if we can take our backyard, our small local farmers market, and turn it into a source of real growth—both for our family and for Farm Where You Live.

And we want you along for the ride.

You’ll see:

  • The wins (because they happen!)
  • The blunders (oh, they happen too)
  • Real numbers—what sells, what doesn’t, what we spend, what we make
  • Lessons we wish we’d learned sooner

This isn’t a sob story.

We’re sharing it all because maybe it’ll help you. Maybe it’ll entertain you. Maybe it’ll inspire you to take your own pile of dreams, big or small, and make them work—even when the odds feel stacked.

Here’s to dirt under our nails, mistakes we’ll laugh at later, and a season that could change everything.

Stay tuned, because the first harvest is coming—and you’ll want to see what actually grows.

With determination (and a little stubbornness),
Meg
